Clime Scene uses a high proportion of lower impact materials, such as post-consumer recycled fibers, upcycled fabrics from uniform factories, GOTS-certified unbleached organic cotton, GRS-certified recycled cotton, among others.
It works with Varna Print Factory, which uses GOTS-certified inks to colour fabrics using digital printing technology.
Its manufacturing is done locally in India, so it reduces its carbon footprint due to shorter travel distances.
It has a year-round quality collection with few items, and unlike fast fashion brands, micro-trends are not followed.
It claims to have packaging that is unbleached and free from plastics.

Maker Wellbeing

It sources its fabrics from Khaloom, Herbal Fab, and AAECO.
It does not have a Code of Conduct for its suppliers, but all of its suppliers are certified by GOTS (for norms based on ILOs labour standards, like no forced labour, no discrimination, no child labour, right to association and collective bargaining, among others).
It traces most of its supply chain and visits some of its suppliers.
There is no evidence on whether living wages are paid to workers throughout its supply chain.
